Spoken Word has been a part of life at The Greenwich for quite some time. We have hosted weekly poetry sessions for the past several years, featuring groups such as the 144k Poets, RaRa Enterprises, "Deeper Than Color" and Purple Lotus. The feature "Lyrical Insurrection" was recognized in 2005 as "Best in the City" by both CityBeat (the leading alternative paper) and Cincinnati Magazine. Currently, Spoken Word artists can perform on Sundays at either our "Lyrical Insurrection" or "Rhythm & Rhymes" sessions--forums for both established and emerging artists...
